Paralegal" is synonymous with "Legal Assistant". Which means, I assist the public and professionals. I am defined as a person who is qualified through education, training, and work experience to perform substantive legal work that requires knowledge of many legal concepts and is customarily, but not exclusively performed by a lawyer.
Therefore, I may be retained or employed by a Judge, lawyer, law office, governmental agency, or other entity or may be authorized by administrative, statutory, or court authority.
If asked, I assist "Pro Bono Publico" which allows me to provide or assist to provide quality legal services in order to enhance access to justice for persons of limited means; charitable, religious, civic, community, governmental and educational organizations in matters that are designed primarily to address the legal needs of persons with limited means; or individuals, groups or organizations seeking to secure or protect civil rights, civil liberties or public rights.
Social Security Disability Issues
While a disability advocate representative cannot guarantee that a claimant will be awarded social security disability or ssi benefits, a disability advocate representative can guarantee that a case will be properly developed prior to a hearing date.
The simple fact of the matter is this: the vast majority of SSD and SSI claimants will have no idea how to properly and thoroughly prepare a disability case for a hearing, whereas an non attorney disability representative can apply a certain level of familiarity and expertise with social security rules and regulations toward the goal of obtaining a favorable outcome on a case. And, in many cases, a non attorney representative will have several years of invaluable ssdi and ssi claim experience to lend to a claimant's disability case.

We are open 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. However, We have evening and weekend hours available for your convenience.
